None of us were able to meet with any success in ToGC. It was a bitter and depressing situation to be stopped so hard and so solidly despite everyone’s best efforts.

Because we were not able to kill any of those bosses, we were also blocked from access to any of the gear, leaving all of our members in 245. When Icecrown first released, we had a bit of a tough time keeping up with the release schedule, and it seemed things were really bad after our third week of being unable to down Festergut or Rotface.

Looking back on it, I think what we’ve seen happen here is that those 3 weeks we struggled, everyone was rapidly crossing from 245 to 251 and 264, which brought our gear level up to the place where it should have been before Icecrown released. We are now on a nearly level playing field in terms of equipment, and certainly it is showing in our progression.

As of the time of this writing, we are basically tied with about 6 other guilds, and all we have to do is kill one more boss to break away from the pack and move in to the top5. As you all know, I am perfectly happy being in the top5. We do not spend the time and effort that the top 3 guilds do, and as such, I have no expectation of matching their accomplishments. But, all of you bust your rears on the 3 days we do spend raiding, and it is paying off for us in terms of our progress forward.
