Another week, another doughnut.

Yup,  last week was truly inspiring.

As you read from last weeks update,  we got off to an odd start.  We cleared BWL in 4:15 minutes, which included over an hour of wiping on Vael.  So if you factor in a 1-shot on Vael (like normal) that puts our clear at around 3:30 or so.   That’s an impressive clear time.

Friday was pretty bad…   I dunno what to say except we need people to show up.  And when people don’t show up,  things get nasty.   We killed 2 bosses, but we were out of healers by the time we hit Sartura.

Monday was much better.  We were able to kill Sartura, and Fankriss (for the first time since our original kill).  Then we spent nearly an hour on HuHu.  It was a treat to see her for the first time.   We managed to get her to 24% within the first few pulls,  but we had a great deal of difficulty with our tank switches, and our healing wasn’t very organized.

So it was another week devoid of Naxx attempts,  but it was also another week of gear dropping from all farmable bosses in all zones.

This week is off to a great start so far.  We had a 1 hour late start on our Wednesday raid.  However,  we were still able to clear all the way up to HuHu, and had an hour with her.  We TORE THROUGH AQ40 like nobody’s bussiness.  Our tanks learned to tank Yauj vem and Kri,  and they also learned how to do proper tank switches on HuHu.  Our healers learned the value of spreading out, and we learned a lot about how to set up the heal groups.    So,  clearing Skerem up to HuHu in 2 hours was really impressive.  Everyone did an awesome job.   Friday and Monday should be equally successful as long as we keep up our momentum.

Nothing to see here… move along….

Last week was definately a crappy week for us.

We’ve said goodbye to some of our most dedicated players, and are currently in the process of recruitment. Our lack of healing in AQ40 has severely impacted our ability to progress, and after our complete and total failure to sync up all of our efforts last Friday, we had to skip Naxx in order to pick up our AQ40 kills.

Overall, the week was pretty ugly, but the spirit and determination of our guildies helped us to pull it together, and still walk away with everything (minus Fankriss) being cleared. We may not have had a chance to try any new content last week, but at least we got the heavy lifting done. We have picked up a couple of new recruits to replace the ones we lost, and replace the ones that don’t have the stomach to deal with rough weeks, and carried on.

This week was off to a slow start with 45 minutes of wiping on Vael. It’s quite demoralizing to lose money and time on a boss that has been so easily dominated in months past. Most people recognized that we had to do some training as a result of our laziness in the past, and everyone had a healthy reality check in terms of how much we can gimp ourselves if we rely too heavily on any one person.

With training complete, we went on to clear BWL in 4:15. Everyone had to stay a bit late, but we still 1-shot nef, so overall I think everyone agrees the extra 15m was worth it.

Our goals for this week are to take out Huhu, and our first Naxx boss.

Yes, it’s true…. We r0xx0r. BWL 3:57

Clearing BWL in one night wasn’t even really expected until after nef had been /farm for a bit.

But making nef /farm seems to be part of making BWL a one night event.

We had some trouble on firemaw, and I was starting to become concerned that we weren’t going to make it, but we recovered and powered through to nef, and then killed him on our first attempt.

That leaves us all day Friday in AQ40, and all day Monday in Naxx. Keep up the good work everyone. Your E-Daddy is proud of you.

In other news,  our social members are becoming increasingly adept at MC.  The clears are going smoothly and efficiently.   I believe it is quickly approaching the time where our socials and alts are running the show there.   As Thesheol puts it,  we eat Rag for breakfast.
