This week of raiding was a rough one…

 Wednesday was horrible,  the people that bothered to show up brought their D game….   We spent all night in BWL,  skipping ony so that we would have more time,  and we left the zone with only Razorgore down..

  The follow up to Wednesday was Friday.   8 people took the time, and had the courtesy,  to inform us they wouldn’t be able to make it.  Given that for every person that says they can’t come,  there are 2 others who don’t bother to let us know they aren’t coming,  this means we could expect 12-15 poeple to be missing from Fridays raid,  so we cancelled it.
  When Friday actually came around,  we still had 27 people itching to raid.  We elected to do Ony,  and downed her on the second attempt.   This was the first positive thing to happen during the week.
 Then came Monday…    Monday was absolutely fabulous.  Such a triumph of raiding prowess.   We cleared Vael-Chromag,  and still had time to do 2 attempts on Nef before the 4hr time limit was up.
  Monday also brought us ~20 members from Aftermath.  We look forward to evaluating our new friends, and helping them to find their place in our family.

  Things are definately looking up,  and I hope to see you all Wednesday.

Well, we didn’t kill him last week, but we got him this week.

It’s kind of a long and tiring fight, and a wipe is another long and tiring event. Everyone did a great job of staying focused and positive as we worked out the details of the strat.

And then we were ON TO NEF! Yay!!!!

We started the evening out by disbanding the guild.

It seemed like a good idea at the time….

We had petitioned the GMs to change our name from “SIX FEET DEEP” to “Six Feet Deep” in order to remove the childish capslock “PvP” name.
The GMs refused to change the name, and said the only way to do that was to disband and reform…. What the GM did _NOT_ tell us, is that once the name has been used, it is locked out…

So, we had 50 some guildies standing around in org unguilded being pelted with invites and harassed by other guilds that would LOVE to get ANY of our members in their ranks…

The leadership quickly decided upon our #2 choice, “SFD” We’ve said goodbye to a few friends by doing this, but we will always be here if they change their minds.
