THIRD PULL KILL!

As the members of SFD continue to strive for individual perfection in order to be a perfectly tuned cog in the great SFD assbeat machine, we have been blessed with the gift of dominance over the AQ20 zone.

Many people skip Ayamiss, but we don’t call it ‘clear’ till it’s truly cleared out. Nice work everyone!

With AQ20 on farm, and ZG on ez-mode, SFD members of all gear and experience levels are now prepared for MC farming. With the recent extraction of MC from our primary DKP system, there are now 3 lootalicous zones for members to farm out at their leisure, with little to no competition from core raiders.

Definitely one of SFDs finest moments.

Thanks in large part to our dedicated raiders preparing (mentally) for the encounter ahead of time, we met with great success during the 3 attempts against this brand new boss.

Our first attempts at the suppression rooms met with some messy (and expensive) wipes, but we soon found our groove and by the third trip through, we were playing games and looking for something else to do while we pulled.

Our first attempt on Broodlord ended at 78%. This attempt cemented in everyone’s minds the value of threat control, and positioning.

Our second attempt ended at 5%. Our threat control was really good, but our locks were seriously over-threat towards the end of the fight, and things got really messy. When the last tank dropped below all of the casters, it was over. This attempt resulted in us finding a way to play to the strengths of our warlocks instead of gimping them and relegating them to wanding. Our strategy here was definitely a major key to our success. Turning a weakness in to an advantage FTW!!

Our third attempt resulted in Broodlord’s death. It wasn’t even really a challenge. Our strategy with the warlocks truly paid off here, and it’s pretty clear that this guy won’t be giving us much trouble in the future. The amazing job that EVERYONE did truly inspires all who are able to witness it.

We are mighty.
